Ways to work together

Services

Every service can be in person in Brookhaven or virtual anywhere in Georgia. All evening appointments (4:00 to 6:00 pm) are virtual.

Individual therapy

A confidential space that's entirely yours

Individual therapy is the heart of this practice: a personalized journey of self-discovery and growth. In a confidential space built around your needs, we explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors together, and navigate what we find with the approach that fits you, whether that's DBT skills, Brainspotting, somatic work, or simply room to finally say things out loud.

Sessions are 53 minutes, weekly or biweekly, in person or virtual.

Family therapy

Helping your family hear each other again

Family therapy is a collaborative effort to improve communication, resolve conflict, and cultivate healthier relationships within your family unit. Because family dynamics are interconnected, we look at how each person's actions and emotions shape the whole, then build effective communication strategies, transform the patterns that aren't working, and create an environment that supports each member's growth.

Workshops + trainings

Transformative sessions for your organization

Beyond the therapy room, I bring this work to organizations, agencies, and institutions through engaging workshops and trainings: mental health awareness, trauma 101, substance use awareness, the art of self-care, experiential workshops, and parent education. These aren't lectures. They're transformative experiences that equip participants with coping skills, resilience, and real strategies for life's challenges.

As a Youth Mental Health First Aid certified trainer with advanced DBT training, I build each session to order for your group.

The methods, explained simply

Therapy has a lot of jargon. Here's what these approaches actually mean, in plain words, so you can walk in already knowing what to expect.

What is Brainspotting?
A brain-body method built on a simple observation: where you look affects how you feel. Together we find eye positions, called brainspots, that connect to where your brain is holding distress, and holding focus there lets your brain process experiences that talking alone often can't reach. It tends to go deeper and faster than traditional talk for trauma that feels stuck in the body.
What are DBT skills?
Dialectical behavior therapy is one of the most researched approaches for overwhelming emotions. The skills side of it is beautifully practical: concrete tools in four areas (mindfulness, tolerating distress, regulating emotion, and navigating relationships) that you practice and use in real life, often the same week you learn them. It's therapy that hands you equipment, not just insight.
What is somatic work?
Somatic simply means "of the body." Stress and trauma don't just live in memories; they live in the nervous system, in tight shoulders, a clenched jaw, a stomach that drops. Somatic work brings the body into the session, using awareness, breath, and grounding, so healing happens in the place where the tension is actually stored.
What does "trauma-informed" actually mean?
It doesn't mean you need a trauma story to be here. It means the care itself is built on safety, choice, and trust: nothing is forced, your pace is respected, and I assume there may be more to your story than what you've said out loud yet. It's a way of treating every person, not a category of client.
